Dash for Donation!!
Lifeline of Ohio’s Dash for Donation to promote organ and tissue donation will be run on Saturday, August 15, 2009, beginning at 7:00 a.m. in the Arena District. Run/walk events include a ½ Marathon Run & Relay, 5K Run/Walk, 1K Family Fun Walk and Kids & Mascots Dash for 6 years and under.
Lifeline of Ohio is offering individuals a discounted race entry fee for the 5K and ½ marathon events, as a thank you for showing your support for organ and tissue donation and joining the Ohio Donor Registry.
There is also a Team Challenge for groups of five or more people, designed to provide businesses, organizations, groups and hospitals in the Lifeline of Ohio service area the opportunity to be involved in raising awareness for organ and tissue donation, as well as support people from their communities who are touched by donation and transplantation. There is a reduced cost of $10 per participant in the Team Challenge, a $5-17 discount that includes t-shirt and race-day refreshments.
