The Ohio Public Health and Health Promotion Library (OPHHPL)
The Ohio Public Health and Health Promotion Library (OPHHPL) offers more than 3,000 public health, health promotion and health education books, journals, newsletters, pamphlets, CD-ROMs, DVDs, videos and software programs to school staff, public health professionals and community-based organization personnel. The scope of the library collection includes preventive health topics such as AIDS, bio-terrorism, cancer, cardiovascular health, diabetes, sexual assault and domestic violence, elder health, environmental health, exercise/physical activity, nutrition, infectious diseases, maternal and child health, mental health, men's and women’s health, program evaluation, social marketing, stress, substance abuse and tobacco prevention and cessation.
ODH employees may visit 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The library is located on the 8th Floor at 246 North High Street at the Ohio Department of Health. Since ODH is a secure building, other customers are welcome by appointment.
